Simply put, this is the text (or copy) that is written specifically for your website pages. Writing copy for a website is very different than writing copy for a brochure or for other printed communications. Not only does your website copy need to contain well-written information about your business in order to persuade potential customers to buy your product or service, but it also needs to be optimised for search engine rankings. The two are not always harmonious. In fact, often they are complete opposites and optimising your copy for both can be tricky.
